hunters who like to chase 'the fish of 10,000 casts' will
find many excellent musky tournaments on the calendar, but
you don't have to enter tournaments to enjoy northern
Wisconsin's bounty!
Outstanding
walleye, musky, northern, bass, perch and bluegill fishing
-- and tons of other recreational opportunities -- beckon
visitors all season long -- to venerable Northern
Wisconsin and the Western UP of Michigan vacation areas
like Eagle River, St. Germain, Boulder Junction, Presque
Isle, Mincoqua, Mercer and Lake Gogebic.

Established in 1997, here in Central
Wisconsin on the State’s second largest body
of water…the Petenwell Flowage. Our
tournament date is always the weekend after
Mother’s Day in May of each year.
The PMC is designed to give back to our
resources. Proceeds from the fundraiser and
other donations along with a team optional
stocking program, we use the funds to stock
muskies in Petenwell Flowage and the
Wisconsin River. |
Spring Classic of Champions

The Headwaters Chapter of Muskies Inc.
presents the 27th annual Spring Classic of
Champions Muskie Release Tournament held on
the Eagle River Chain of Lakes Eagle River
Wisconsin. The tournament headquarters is
Hiawatha Hide Away. All profits from the
tournament will be used to support the local
fishery and projects. The field will be 150
two person teams with 1st prize payout of
$15,000. This year dates are set on June
9th-10th 2007. |
Walmart Bays Classic
Gladstone, Michigan

On August 7th and 8th 2004 competitors will
launch from Gladstone Harbor for the Wal*Mart
Bays Classic. This tournament will be held
on the World Class Walleye waters of Big and
Little Bays de Noc.The Great Lakes
Sportsfisherman Inc. and the Delta County
Chamber of Commerce run the Bays Classic,
two organizations with top-notch experience
in tournament hosting. Larry Johnson your
Tournament director has listened to you, the
anglers, to make this tournament both fun
and competitive. Changes to this year's
event will make it one you don't want to
miss! |
